Art Director Liza Pagano from the nonprofit DonorsChoose reached out to me about creating an illustration for their end of year Holiday Card. DonorsChoose makes it easy for anyone to help a teacher in need, moving us closer to a nation where students in every community have the tools and experiences they need for a great education. For the first round I provided several illustration ideas to their team, you can check out the full presentation here. All my ideas included elements from both their existing branding and the new branding they created for their new podcast Most Likely To.
The team over at Donor’s Choose also reached out to me to create some stickers for Teacher Appreciation week in May. The sticker sheet was aimed at celebrating teachers while also referencing the Donor’s Choose brand.
Alongside Teacher Appreciation Week, I also had the opportunity to help The Donor’s Choose team with there animated mission video. I worked along the illustrator Christina Moreland. My primary role was animating half the scenes, compositing and video editing.
