At Progress one of my biggest tasks is creating graphic elements for marketing various different events, blogs and announcements. Below is a handful of social media banners I’ve created where I’ve had the opportunity to create unique brand illustrations that have been folded into the Progress brand, helping to grow the illustration library.
While working at Progress I was tasked with creating 8 new illustrations for the brand new Costa Rica office in 2026. You can see some footage from the new space and my murals in action here. I worked closely with the team on site to ideate on these illustrations. Each illustration is dedicated to a specific city in Costa Rica and contains several elements including national monuments, nature and good from each location.
The sketches above were created using primarily Procreate. I jumped into sketching digitally for this assignment so I could manage all the different elements of each composition with ease. Progress has an extensive Illustration brand bank that I references for this project but most of the illustrations were things we did not previously have in our brand bank. A big challenge for this project was generating new elements that fit within the brand guidelines. Below are a handful of the final illustrations.
